Alex Ovechkin’s son Sergei already won our hearts on Instagram and Twitter, but now the two-year-old and his all-star dad have expanded their platform to TikTok.
D.C.’s favorite hockey prodigy was featured in two TikToks posted this past week by his cousin showing his best moves to the world.
In one video, Sergei and Ovi danced together to an electronic remix of the 2005 song Laffy Taffy by D4L. The song has gained popularity on the app recently, and Sergei, of course, had to join the movement.
The young star was also shown dancing with his cousin to the same song in another video with the biggest smile on his face.
The Ovechkin family now joins a number of other Capitals to create their own dances on the app such as Evgeny Kuznetsov and his daughter Esenia (with the help of Ovi and Ilya Samsonov) and Brenden Dillon who dominated the Caps TikTok game throughout quarantine before sadly announcing his retirement from the app.
While Sergei had to go a month without his dad while he led the Capitals through the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the two have had lots of fun together in the offseason since Ovi’s return. The Hype House better watch out because they have some serious competition now!
