Prior to Tuesday's game against the Jets, the Capitals held a ceremony to honor Alex Ovechkin and his recent achievement of 700 goals.
While Ovi was supposed to be the man of the hour, it was another Ovechkin that stole the show.
During the ceremony, Ovechkin had his son Sergei in his arms. Sergei, being the adorable little boy he is, reached out to give his dad a big hug. The camera caught it, and it has to be one of the cutest moments one will ever see.
not to be dramatic but we would die for Sergei Ovechkin pic.twitter.com/wtmLQQW6EZ— NBC Sports Capitals (@NBCSCapitals) February 26, 2020
The ceremony was already great, but this took it to another level.
