Capitals

The Washington Capitals 2018-19 schedule is here.

Just two weeks ago, the Capitals were on the ice in Vegas hoisting the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history.

But now, we're ready to look forward to the 2018-19 season as the team aims to go, as T.J. Oshie would say, back-to-back

The Stanley Cup Champions open their seven-game exhibition series on Sept. 16 vs. the Bruins at TD Garden.

The Capitals will face the Carolina Hurricanes, Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues each for one game at home and one on the road.

They will also travel to Montreal for one game vs. the Canadiens.

As we found out Wednesday, the team will open their season on Oct. 3 at home vs. the Boston Bruins where the beautiful Stanley Cup Championship banner will be raised, followed by a road game vs. the Penguins on Oct. 4. Those two opponents should definitely be switched, but we won't get into that right now

On Thursday, the Caps released their full 2018-19 season schedule, which by the way, starts in roughly 100 days.

While there's still plenty of time to bask in the glory of being Stanley Cup Champions, we're starting to get that hockey itch. So without further ado, here is the Capitals' full 2018-19 schedule.
