D.C. United vs. Red Bulls: WHAT TO WATCH

It's obvious here: D.C. United needs a win for two reasons. The first is to keep the club's playoff hopes alive. Earning three points on Wednesday would put United back into the sixth spot of the Eastern Conference, albeit they will have played one more match than both New York Red Bulls and Atlanta.

The second is for the club to snap its four-game winless streak, as United has not won a match since Sept. 29.

D.C. United and the New York Red Bulls have faced off three times in 2021. Two of the matches have ended in a draw, but D.C. United did win when the two teams squared off in July.

D.C. United vs. Red Bulls: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ola Kamara, Forward, D.C. United (25 games, 17 goals, 5 assists): No surprise here. Ola Kamara has been D.C. United's top goal scorer all season. He's found the back of the net 17 times in 25 games, 12 more goals than D.C.'s next best total. Kamara will look to add to his total once again this weekend.

Caden Clark, Midfielder, New York Red Bulls (16 games, 4 goals, 3 assists): Red Bulls' 18-year-old star midfielder is months away from beginning the next chapter of his career in Germany with Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig. In the meantime, he is continuing to push himself during this MLS campaign.
