Athletes in the Washington area seem to be enjoying themselves out on the golf course.
First, Capitals winger T.J. Oshie made headlines when he hit a ball 367 yards in the Long Drive Competition of the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe this week, besting Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' 347 yards.
Well, it seems as though the D.C. United have caught the golf fever from Oshie. Midfielder Yamil Asad was on the course with his teammates and decided to incorporate a soccer ball. From a reasonable distance, Asad's shot hooked and went into the hole with the rest of the crew celebrating.
Not sure if this shot will be categorized as a hole-in-one, but it's definitely impressive.
