Fifteen quarterbacks eclipsed 20 fantasy points in Week 5. Was one of them on your team?

Even though QB is perhaps the least volatile position in fantasy, there were still a few surprises. Davis Mills had a breakout performance, Kyler Murray put up a dud by his standards and Jameis Winston couldn’t miss with his deep balls.

Looking ahead, here are the top 20 quarterbacks for Week 6.

2021 FANTASY FOOTBALL QB RANKINGS: WEEK 6

Weekly rankings: Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends | Defense/Special Teams

1. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) at Washington

  • 2021 passing stats: 135 completions, 1,490 yards, 16 TDs, 6 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 23 attempts, 153 yards, 1 TD, 1 fumble

The only team that’s allowed more fantasy points to QBs this season than Washington are the Chiefs. Since Patrick Mahomes can’t face his own defense, this is as good of a fantasy matchup as he’s going to see all season.

2. Josh Allen (Bills) at Titans

  • 2021 passing stats: 114 completions, 1,370 yards, 12 TDs, 2 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 35 attempts, 188 yards, 2 TDs, 3 fumbles

Josh Allen is on some kind of tear. Over his last three games, the Bills QB is averaging over 300 yards per game with nine passing touchdowns, two rushing scores and only one interception. The Titans’ secondary most likely won’t be the unit that puts a stop to him.

3. Kyler Murray (Cardinals) at Browns

  • 2021 passing stats: 124 completions, 1,512 yards, 10 TDs, 4 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 30 attempts, 110 yards, 3 TDs, 2 fumbles

The Browns are a statistically tough matchup for opposing QBs, but Justin Herbert just ripped their defense apart last weekend. Kyler Murray will pose just as tough as a threat, leaving every bit of confidence that the former No. 1 pick will bounce back with a strong performance.

4. Tom Brady (Buccaneers) at Eagles

  • 2021 passing stats: 149 completions, 1,767 yards, 15 TDs, 2 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 9 attempts, 36 yards, 1 TD, 2 fumbles

Never mind that he’s 44 years old, Tom Brady enters Week 6 leading the NFL in passing yards after making the Dolphins look like a Division-III team on Sunday. Even with Rob Gronkowski out with a rib injury, Brady has plenty of weapons around him to damage in Philadelphia on Thursday night.

5. Lamar Jackson (Ravens) vs. Chargers

  • 2021 passing stats: 112 completions, 1,519 yards, 8 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 56 attempts, 341 yards, 2 TDs, 5 fumbles

Lamar Jackson the passer would like a word. The former MVP is on pace for career highs in passing yards (303.8 YPG) and completion percentage (67.1%) while maintaining his unmatched rushing attack. He’ll look to keep that up with the high-scoring Chargers setting the pace this Sunday.

6. Justin Herbert (Chargers) at Ravens

  • 2021 passing stats: 139 completions, 1,576 yards, 13 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 19 attempts, 60 yards, 1 TD, 1 fumble

The Browns were supposed to be the toughest defense Justin Herbert has faced yet, and he went out and threw four touchdowns with another score on the ground. Herbert has accounted for 12 touchdowns with no interceptions over his last three games.

7. Jalen Hurts (Eagles) vs. Buccaneers

  • 2021 passing stats: 118 completions, 1,365 yards, 7 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 43 attempts, 256 yards, 3 TDs, 4 fumbles

One of the most notable fantasy trends of the 2021 season has how Buccaneers opponents have almost completely abandoned the run against them. Teams are averaging 44.2 pass attempts per game against Tampa Bay while running the ball only 14.4 times. The Eagles, who don’t run often anyway, should put the ball in Jalen Hurts’s hands all night on Thursday.

8. Matt Stafford (Rams) at Giants

  • 2021 passing stats: 117 completions, 1,587 yards, 12 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 16 attempts, 14 yards, 0 TDs, 0 fumbles

Five weeks in, the Sean McVay/Matt Stafford partnership has gone swimmingly. Stafford is averaging 9.2 yards per attempt and a touchdown rate of 7% — both of which are career highs. The Rams are rolling into their matchup with the Giants, who’ve given up 400+ yards of offense in four of five games.

9. Aaron Rodgers (Packers) at Bears

  • 2021 passing stats: 107 completions, 1,241 yards, 10 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 7 attempts, 8 yards, 1 TD, 0 fumbles

Aaron Rodgers’s numbers are hovering around his career averages across the board, which is to say he’s still very much Aaron Rodgers. The Bears’ defense is no easy opponent, but no one knows Chicago inside and out like Rodgers.

10. Dak Prescott (Cowboys) at Patriots

  • 2021 passing stats: 122 completions, 1,368 yards, 13 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 19 attempts, 60 yards, 0 TDs, 5 fumbles

When Dak Prescott finds the end zone, he does so in bunches. The Cowboys QB has thrown for 3, 0, 3, 4 and 3 touchdowns in each game this season. New England is tied for the fifth-fewest passing touchdowns allowed, so Prescott finds himself on the fringe of the top 10 for Week 6.

11. Taylor Heinicke (Washington) vs. Chiefs

  • 2021 passing stats: 102 completions, 1,208 yards, 8 TDs, 5 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 25 attempts, 127 yards, 1 TD, 0 fumbles

12. Joe Burrow (Bengals) at Lions

  • 2021 passing stats: 104 completions, 1,269 yards, 11 TDs, 6 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 12 attempts, 24 yards, 0 TDs, 0 fumbles

13. Kirk Cousins (Vikings) at Panthers

  • 2021 passing stats: 133 completions, 1,396 yards, 10 TDs, 2 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 6 attempts, 41 yards, 0 TDs, 2 fumbles

14. Sam Darnold (Panthers) vs. Vikings

  • 2021 passing stats: 120 completions, 1,366 yards, 6 TDs, 6 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 22 attempts, 62 yards, 5 TDs, 4 fumbles

15. Trevor Lawrence (Jaguars) vs. Bills

  • 2021 passing stats: 104 completions, 1,146 yards, 6 TDs, 8 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 24 attempts, 110 yards, 2 TDs, 2 fumbles

16. Carson Wentz (Colts) vs. Texans

  • 2021 passing stats: 113 completions, 1,322 yards, 7 TDs, 1 INT
  • 2021 rushing stats: 16 attempts, 73 yards, 0 TDs, 2 fumbles

17. Teddy Bridgewater (Broncos) vs. Raiders

  • 2021 passing stats: 104 completions, 1,180 yards, 7 TDs, 1 INT
  • 2021 rushing stats: 13 attempts, 57 yards, 0 TDs, 0 fumbles

18. Jared Goff (Lions) vs. Bengals

  • 2021 passing stats: 131 completions, 1,303 yards, 7 TDs, 3 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 11 attempts, 72 yards, 0 TDs, 6 fumbles

19. Derek Carr (Raiders) at Broncos

  • 2021 passing stats: 131 completions, 1,605 yards, 8 TDs, 4 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 16 attempts, 29 yards, 0 TDs, 4 fumbles

20. Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) vs. Seahawks

  • 2021 passing stats: 124 completions, 1,286 yards, 6 TDs, 4 INTs
  • 2021 rushing stats: 6 attempts, 9 yards, 0 TDs, 4 fumbles
