How to watch Washington Football vs. Packers in Week 7

Football Team

From Patrick Mahomes to Aaron Rodgers. It’s one challenge after the other for the Washington Football Team defense.

During their 31-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Washington had a strong first half against the defending AFC champions, forcing three turnovers, one of which was very un-Mahomes like, to take a three-point lead into halftime. Things changed in the second half once Mahomes returned to form and the Washington defense committed some costly penalties that extended drives and helped put points on the board for the Chiefs.

Against elite quarterbacks, a complete game is needed defensively. That will be the case this week against Rodgers, the reigning MVP who has guided the Packers to five consecutive victories.

Rodgers threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for another in Green Bay’s’ 24-14 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The Packers haven’t lost since opening week when they suffered a 38-3 rout to the New Orleans Saints. In the five games since, they have averaged 28.2 points per game to help move to the top of the NFC North.
