It doesn't make sense, but still, picture J.J. Watt on WFT's D-line

That's a dilemma that's all but certain to not happen, yet with the Texans releasing Watt on Friday, it at least gives those who follow the Burgundy and Gold a chance to imagine what the defensive line would look like with the addition of a three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

And damn, would it look good.

Though Ron Rivera and Jack Del Rio already had Ryan Kerrigan — Watt's draft classmate, weirdly enough — as their third pass rusher in 2020, Watt is a level above Kerrigan, if not more. He's basically a level above everyone who's ever played his position.

Daniel Jones, Dak Prescott (if Jerry Jones gets his act together) and Carson Wentz/Jalen Hurts would be candidates to "pull" their "hamstring" so their backup could get "game experience" against a group that featured Young, Montez Sweat and Watt off the edge and Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen, Matt Ioannidis and Tim Settle up the middle.

Watt would also make the defense a must-have in fantasy football, considering that he, Young and Sweat all found the end zone last year. That's as many scores as guys like Cooper Kupp and Robby Anderson had.

Then there's the fact that Deshaun Watson tweeted this out after hearing of Watt's exit from Houston: "Any team in the league will be better the day you put on their jersey!" he wrote.

Well, D-Wats (does anyone call him that?) imagine how much better that team would be the day you AND J.J. put on their jersey. You guys like numbers on your helmets, by chance?

Now, of course, whoever actually picks up Watt won't be getting the same Watt that put up 17-plus sacks in three out of four campaigns from 2012 to 2015. But they'll still be acquiring an all-time great player in every way.

Until that news comes down, however, ridiculous questions can continue to be asked, such as: Can someone make sure his locker is right in between Young and Sweat's? They’re going to want to pick his brain as much as possible.

Thanks in advance.
