As the Washington Football Team begins to shift their focus to the offseason, head coach Ron Rivera plans to keep his current coaching staff intact moving forward.
Speaking during his end-of-season press conference on Sunday, Rivera was firm that he doesn't envision any major changes to the coaching staff this offseason.
"No, no, no," Rivera said when asked about the possibility of shaking up the staff.
That means, if things go as planned for Washington, that offensive coordinator Scott Turner, defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and special teams coordinator Nate Kaczor will all return for the 2021 season.
"There were a lot of great things," Rivera said. "I just know there’s going to be continued growth."
Keeping the staff coaching staff intact should bode well for Washington, an organization that has seen plenty of annual turnover over the past several years. Last year when Rivera took over as head coach, he only kept two coaches from the previous regime: Kaczor and running backs coach Randy Jordan.
