Coming off a bye, the Washington Football Team now faces an important final nine games that will determine its fate in 2020. With the NFC East wide open, and a favorable schedule ahead, the 2-5 team still has a chance to come out on top in the NFC East.

In order to do that, Washington will have to take home a win in Week 9 against the New York Giants. Washington put together arguably its best performance of the season against the Cowboys in Week 7, with the defense swarming and the offense finally finding some big plays. That same formula will need to be replicated in the coming weeks.

Despite New York's 1-7 record, they are not a team to be taken lightly. The one win came against Washington in Week 6, and while it was largely due to Washington not converting its two-point attempt in the final minute, a loss is a loss. Additionally, the Giants just went toe-to-toe with a talented Buccaneers team.

The division is there for Washington, but they can't afford a slip-up in Week 9. Here's everything to know about the matchup:
