Before Chase Young was a standout for the Washington Football Team and Justin Fields was a top prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft, the two were teammates at Ohio State.
And, just one day before the draft, the two former Buckeyes were featured training together back in Ohio as part of a Chipotle advertisement.
Take a look:
At one point in the video, the soon-to-be-rookie Fields asked Young for any advice entering Year 1 as a professional.
"Off the field, continue to carry yourself like a man, and you'll be good," Young said.
Once Young and Fields finished working out at the conclusion of the video, the Washington pass rusher gave the quarterback his first taste of what rookie demands he'll have from his new teammates come next fall.
"Rookie buys lunch," Young told Fields, to which the quarterback responded with "alright, bet."
Now, to the important stuff: Young's bowl consisted of double chicken and "all the sauces,"Â while Fields, who is vegan, had a bowl of brown rice, sofritas, veggies, black beans and guacamole.Â
This wasn't the first time Young was featured in a Chipotle ad. He was part of the restaurant's "Unwrapped" series last fall, giving fans a glimpse of athlete's daily lives.
