In the second quarter of the Washington Football Team's Week 4 matchup against the Falcons, Scott Turner's offense needed a spark.
Enter, Terry McLaurin.
On a third-and-8 play from Atlanta's 33-yard line, quarterback Taylor Heinicke found an open Terry McLaurin in the left corner of the end zone to get the Burgundy and Gold on the board. The touchdown trimmed Atlanta's lead to just three.
The touchdown was McLaurin's second of the season and his first score since Week 2. In the first half, McLaurin has already totaled three receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.
On the ensuing drive, Washington's defense would force a three-and-out, giving the ball right back to Heinicke and Co. The 28-year-old quarterback led Washington on another scoring drive, capped off by a two-yard run by Antonio Gibson to give the road side its first lead of the game.
