No fumbles are good, but some are particularly bad. And boy did Washington have a bad one on Sunday.
Washington Football running back Antonio Gibson had a big gain working down the sideline, and as he was getting tackled, the ball popped out. The ball then proceeded to bounce, roll and weave for about another 15 yards.
Just about every player on both teams had a chance at this ball, Logan Thomas particularly. Ron Rivera seemed upset after the play, talking with refs about a player touching the ball while out of bounds.
Sometimes all you can do it laugh. Laugh at the absurdity of an oblong-shaped ball bouncing around a splashed pot of poker chips.
