BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) Jerome Hill grabbed an offensive rebound and laid it in with 1 second left to propel Gardner-Webb to a 66-65 victory over Coastal Carolina in a Big South Conference game on Wednesday night.
Hill's tip-in with 15 seconds left had given Gardner-Webb a 63-64 advantage, but Coastal Carolina's Warren Gillis's layup made it 65-64 with 8 seconds left.
Donta Harper had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead Gardner-Webb (10-8, 2-2), Tashan Newsome scored 17 points, and Hill had 15 points and six rebounds off the bench.

GREEN BAY -- Redskins running back Derrius Guice ripped off a 23-yard run down the right sideline of Lambeau Field before he was tackled hard by Packers safety Darnell Savage. The hit came in low with direct contact to Guice's knee and leg. It was a clean hit, but hard.
After the collision Guice stayed down. He looked to be in significant pain and a host of teammates including Adrian Peterson and Dwayne Haskins came over to check on him. Eventually, after being tended to by trainers, Guice walked off the field under his own power. He immediately went into the on-field blue medical tent with Redskins medical staff.
Redskins PR announced Guice questionable to return due to a knee injury.
The Redskins drafted Guice in the second round in 2018, and unfortunately, he's dealt with significant injuries throughout his NFL career. He missed his entire rookie season after he tore his left ACL. In Week 1 this season, Guice tore his meniscus in his right knee and missed eight games.
Stay tuned for more information on this developing situation.
