Marshawn Lloyd may play as a running back in the fall for DeMatha High School, but he may want to consider doing hurdles in track and field events in the spring.
Lloyd jumped over a Good Counsel defender before breaking another tackle on his way to a touchdown run from his own 30-yard line Friday night. The four-star, South Carolina commit powered the third-ranked Stags to a four-score lead halfway through the third quarter against No. 5 Good Counsel. Lloyd is ranked as the eighth-best running back in the nation, according to 247 Sports. Those kinds of runs certainly back that up.
The senior will likely be a force in the Gamecocks offense for years to come.
