MONTREAL (AP) Montreal will name a street and a park after Gary Carter, the Hall of Fame catcher who defined the golden era of a once-beloved franchise.
Carter died in February of cancer at age 57.
On Wednesday, the city announced the details of its tribute to the player who starred with the now-defunct Expos for more than half of his career.
The street borders Jarry Park, where the Expos played for most of their first decade and where Carter made his big-league debut.
There will also be a park in the north-end Ahuntsic district named after him.
The changes will be enacted by the city council in February, a year after Carter's death.
Following an offseason procedure on his right knee, Trent Williams looked back and better than ever during Redskins' OTAs prior to the start of this season. However, we have now learned that Williams' knee has been bothering him despite the successful offseason surgery.
According to ABC 7's Erin Hawksworth, Trent Williams will be undergoing a 'minor procedure' on his right knee Monday.
The procedure is believed to be a 'clean up,' to ensure Williams' knee has held up post-surgery.
With Week 4 being an early bye-week for the Redskins, Williams has a little extra time to recover before his anticipated return during Week 5 vs. the New Orleans Saints.
The 30-year-old is in his ninth season with the Redskins and has been selected to the Pro Bowl six times.

Former Redskins and current Minnesota Vikings' quarterback Kirk Cousins famously coined the phrase "You like that?" after leading a Redskins' comeback victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.
The phrase took off, leading to Cousins filing for a trademark on the phrase in 2016.
Well unfortunately for Cousins, the phrase has been used as a way for other players to mimmick him, especially when things don't go his way.
The Vikings, who entered Sunday's clash against the previously winless Buffalo Bills as 17-point favorites, fell 27-6 at home in what has been the biggest upset thus far in the 2018 NFL season.
In the visiting tunnel following the Bills' victory, Buffalo cornerback Tre'Davious White shouted exactly what you would expect.
The second-year cornerback looked straight into the camera with a big grin on his face, then shouted Cousins' famous phrase twice before jogging into the locker room.
After the Bills' dominating performance, you can't blame White for having a little fun.
