Where were you when the Nats won the World Series? Fans share memories

In honor of the one year anniversary of the Washington Nationals winning the World Series, we asked you to submit your BEST celebration moments to the NBC Sports Washington Twitter account and you all did NOT disappoint. Here are some of our favorites.

If you were in line early enough to get a spot inside of Walters Sports Bar to watch the Nats score all six runs in the last three innings to clinch their first World Series championship in franchise history, your clothes are still probably drenched from beer showers. If you weren't there, well here's what you missed.

Inside the stadium, the watch party was electric. You would have thought Daniel Hudson struck out Michael Brantley at Nats Park and not at Minute Maid Park in Texas. Tears were shed, towels were tossed and Nats Park was shaking.

The cheers from inside the watch party we're heard loud and clear outside Nats Park where the fans also gathered to celebrate.

Where ever you were that night, you witnessed and celebrated history being made in the District, now known as the District of Champions and we'd still love to hear more of your memories. Tag us on Twitter or Instagram.
