The Nationals weren’t your everyday, run-of-the-mill World Series champions. The fun-loving, baby-sharking, dance-party-having group brought a presence to the stadium that was unlike any other.
Even the normally stoic Stephen Strasburg took part in the fun, dancing in the dugout after a home run and agreeing to group hugs with his teammates. It was a side of Strasburg fans hadn’t seen before and frankly, no one could’ve been blamed for believing that side didn’t exist.
But while fans only got short glimpses of those moments, Gerardo Parra changed everything Tuesday when he posted a video on his Instagram story of Strasburg doing an entire routine with Aníbal Sánchez in the clubhouse.

Strasburg signed a seven-year, $245 million deal with the Nationals this offseason that will ensure he stays with Washington “for life.” At his press conference at Nationals Park on Dec. 17, his agent Scott Boras said Strasburg is a “much better dancer” than when he broke into the major leagues with the club in 2010.
Without any footage of his moves from the start of the decade, it’s tough to say whether his dancing now is actually “better.”
But coordinated or not, this is the video we didn’t know we wanted but always needed.
