In the top of the seventh inning, game knotted at three of the Nationals game against the Mets on Sunday, Asdrúbal Cabrera doubled to right pushing Washington ahead by two runs.
With Juan Soto rounding third base to possibly increase the lead to three, he pulled up mid-stride and grimaced in pain.

When taking a closer look it seems as though Soto rolled his ankle not once, but twice.
The good news is that Soto was able to get up, complete a few calf raises and walk off the field under his own power; so the injury may not be as serious as an Achilles.
However, no official word has come out on the exact issue at this time.
This is a developing story.
