The party is just getting started for the Nationals.
Hours after parading across the streets of D.C. to celebrate Washington’s first World Series title in 95 years, Max Scherzer was spotted at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern leading a slew of Nats fans in a dance line while blowing a whistle.
The celebration carried deep into the night for Max. 😂https://t.co/FEn7ihAgwy— Cut4 (@Cut4) November 3, 2019
His wife, Erica, can be spotted behind him as can Brian Dozier. Penn Quarter is widely considered a popular bar for Nationals fans and displays Nationals flags out front year-round.
The parade may have ended, but Scherzer and the rest of the Nationals’ celebration tour across the District is likely to stretch long into the offseason.
