Any Nationals fan that was watching the Military Bowl on Friday saw something take place that looked very familiar.
During a break in the bowl game between Temple and North Carolina, the Nationals' Racing Presidents gave those in Annapolis a peak of what Nationals fans get to experience every home game.

Both the Tar Heels and Owls mascots aided in the race as well. Teddy Roosevelt came out victorious, something that is not a frequent occurrence at Nationals Park.
The President's Race is a gameday tradition at Nationals Park. The Nationals have mascots of four presidents -- George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Roosevelt -- race in the middle of the fourth inning of every home game.
Hey, I guess somebody has to keep the mascots in shape during the offseason, right?
