The Nationals defeated the Dodgers Sunday in the series finale at Nats Park as well as avoiding a sweep.

Player Notes: 

1B Matt Adams was hit by a pitch Sunday and is scheduled to have additional X-rays on his injured foot Monday. The X-rays that were done following the injury were inconclusive due to the swelling.

RHP Stephen Strasburg struck out nine batters in just over seven innings of play Sunday to pick up his 14th win of the season.
