Game recognize game.
In the fifth inning of the Nationals' Tuesday night contest against the Chicago White Sox, Leury Garcia put a good swing on a 76 mph slider from Patrick Corbin. The ball soared to centerfield, with a chance to be a huge play for the Sox.
Then came Victor Robles to save the day.
The catch, which is a sure-fire #SCTop10, garnered plenty of "oohs and aahs" from the Chicago crowd; so much so that the Guaranteed Rate Field faithful gave a standing ovation to the third-year guy from Santo Domingo Este.
The 22-year old center fielder wasn't done, coming in to make another diving grab later in the game.
Of course, Chicago fans stayed quiet this time. Robles is good, but not good enough to get opposing fans to cheer twice in the same game.
This season Robles is hitting .240 with an OPS of .725, nine homers, nine stolen bases, and 26 RBIs.
