RICHMOND vs. HOWARD WHAT TO WATCH

- Richmond, on the other hand, will come into this matchup as heavy favorites having won the only other meeting between these teams handily in 2017 by a score of 68-21. Redshirt senior quarterback Joe Manusco will look to lead the way as the two-time captain continues to jump up the program passing record books. Manusco ranks eighth all-time in Spiders history with 5,245 yards of total offense -- passing for 4,019 yards and rushing for 1,226 yards in his career.

- How Howard kicks off the Larry Scott era will be an intriguing storyline to follow. The Bison will be looking to turn some heads against the preseason fourth-ranked CAA rival in Richmond in what'll be a challenging three-game slate to open their 2021 campaign. Howard comes back up to play the Maryland Terps in College Park next week before their marquee HBCU matchup at Audi Field against Hampton in Week 3.
