If you are a Maryland basketball fan, there is a new poster that you need on your wall.

Jalen Smith absolutely destroyed the rim on a transition dunk against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Tuesday. In the process, he dunked on Paul Mulcahy and picked up the and-one foul to make it a three-point play.

Completely absurd for the sophomore. And you have to make better life decisions if you're Mulcahy.

The dunk and ensuing free-throw attempt completed an 8-0 run for the Terrapins after their offense went completely silent since the midway point of the first half. As of the play, Smith had recorded his fifth double-double in a row.

That stretch has been Smith's best of the season. Averaging 22.5 points and 11.5 rebounds, there have been few in the Big Ten performing better than Sticks.

Recently Smith was named to the 20-person John Wooden Award Watch List for college basketball's player of the year. More plays like that will definitely keep him in the conversation.
