Georgetown may have found a hidden gem in their newest recruit, Max McClung.

A 6-2 guard from Gate City, VA, he has been setting the internet on fire with his freakish dunk package.

What seemed to be the looks of a typical fastbreak turned into an insane highlight that you just can't help but watch over and over.

After a forced turnover by Gate City High School, the outlet to McClung resulted in a ridiculous between-the-legs dunk that left the home crowd and millions on social media in utter disbelief.

Not to mention, he went on to end the game with 43 points, leading his team in a blowout victory.

With all the hype being generated around the high-flying dunker, will his arrival at Georgetown in the fall prove to be something to keep an eye out for, or will he get lost in the wind?

McClung is definitely no stranger to skepticism over his game, he has clearly used it as his fuel. In his senior season alone, he is averaging 37.6 points a game and currently chasing the Virginia High School League single-season scoring title, held by future NBA Hall of Famer, Allen Iverson.

There is absolutely no doubt concerning the legitimacy of McClung's bounce, but will his overall game translate at the next level? Only time will truly tell, but with the smooth jump shot and solid ball-handling skills that McClung also possesses, there may be a bright future for the incoming Hoya.
