Megan Rapinoe and Maryland's Ashley Owusu are big fans of one another

As the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament kicks off this week, viewers around the country will get a chance to see some incredibly talented players shine.

United States Women's National Soccer Team star Megan Rapinoe is doing just that, and Maryland sophomore Ashley Owusu is someone that has caught her attention.

Rapinoe took to Twitter on Sunday to point out that she had her eyes on the Terps leading scorer.

To show her appreciation, Owusu did her best impersonation of Rapinoe's famous goal celebration, to which the soccer star gave her full endorsement.

In Maryland's First Round win over Mount St. Mary's Owusu had 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, a stat line that Rapinoe is sure to appreciate. On the season, Owusu has been an integral part of the Terps success as the team's leading scorer. Her 18.4 points per game led the team, earned her a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team leading Maryland to the Big Ten title.

As the Terps continue their journey toward a championship, Owusu and company will have Rapinoe in their corner.
