The Orioles dropped their second consecutive game to the Houston Astros as they hosted the series at Camden Yards. Here are the latest news and notes.

Player Updates:

Brooks has a 6.35 ERA and 1.41 WHIP after giving up back-to-back blasts to Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez in the first inning, a two-run home run to Jose Altuve in the second inning and a solo homer to Carlos Correa in the third.

Orioles Roundup: Trey Mancini stays hot in 8-4 home loss to Blue Jays

In a fitting tribute to most games this season in Baltimore, Trey Mancini had a terrific day at the plate, but the pitching staff allowed too many home runs and the O's ended up losing.

Here's everything you need to know about the Orioles.

Player Updates:

OF Trey Mancini hasn't slowed down at all for the Orioles, turning in a 4-for-4 night to tie his career high in hits. He's hitting .286 with 34 home runs during his breakout season.

OF Austin Hays enjoyed a banner night, hitting his first home run of the season and making one of the year's highlight catches, robbing a home run well over the centerfield wall.

SP Gabriel Ynoa allowed three runs in 6.1 innings. He didn't walk anyone and allowed just six hits, but he also only struck out one batter despite pitching into the seventh inning, and two of the hits allowed were home runs.

Injuries

RP Hunter Harvey, biceps, sidelined, day-to-day

RP Josh Rogers, elbow, 60-Day IL, out indefinitely

SP Alex Cobb, back, 60-Day IL, 2020

Orioles Roundup: Baltimore falls to Toronto, 8-5

The Baltimore Orioles lost the first of their penultimate home series for the season 8-5 to the Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday night.

Here are the latest player news and notes.

Player Updates:

OF Mason Williams crashed hastily into the back wall trying to prevent a Blue Jays score in the top of the ninth. It was 2B Cavan Biggio's line drive that ended up as a two-run triple to give the Blue Jays some cushion. That triple helped Biggio complete the cycle. Austin Hays replaced Williams while he was checked for a concussion.

X-Ray tests came back negative for DH Renato Nunez after his left hand was hit by a pitch in Monday's loss to the Tigers. He could be back Wednesday.

Injuries

DH Mark Trumbo, shoulder, sidelined, day-to-day

RP Hunter Harvey, biceps, sidelined, day-to-day

RP Josh Rogers, elbow, 60-Day IL, out indefinitely

SP Alex Cobb, back, 60-Day IL, 2020
