The Baltimore Orioles are close to signing all their selections from the 2021 MLB Draft as they put pen to paper with three of the four remaining unsigned players.
The team announced Saturday it has signed sixth-round draft pick Collin Burns, seventh-round pick Connor Pavolony and 20th-round pick Trendon Craig to over slot contracts.
Burns, an infielder, was selected out of Tulane University and will sign a contract with a signing bonus of $375,000 according to MLB.com's Joe Trezza. Meanwhile, the selection after him in Pavolony, who plays catcher while at the University of Tennesse, is receiving $325,000.
The Orioles 20th selection in Trendon Craig reportedly received a bonus of $250,000. After these three signings, all that's left for General Manager Mike Elias to do is sign their 14th-round selection in Daniel Lloyd.
