Allen has developed into one of the NFL's best quarterbacks and has Buffalo among the Super Bowl favorites in 2022. His arm strength is arguably the NFL's best and he's extremely athletic, too. Lamar Jackson presents a serious case to go No. 1 overall, too, but Allen's development over the past two seasons gives him a slight edge.

With Josh Allen narrowly edging Lamar Jackson for the No. 1 overall pick, it's an obvious choice for whom the Giants select at No. 2.

In 2019, Jackson led the Ravens to a 14-2 record, was named unanimous MVP, led the league in touchdown passes and broke Michael Vick's single-season record for most rushing yards by a quarterback. Jackson didn't have as great of a year in 2020, yet still turned in a solid campaign and led Baltimore to the postseason. Jackson led the injury-plagued Ravens to an 8-3 record in 2021 before he suffered his own injury. Jackson remains one of the best QBs in the sport.
