Marcus Peters, Calais Campbell and Mark Ingram inactive for Ravens-Jaguars

The Ravens will be a bit thin in the secondary Sunday against the Jaguars, as they’ll be without cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Jimmy Smith.

Smith was ruled out on Friday with a ribs/shoulder injury designation. Peters has been dealing with a calf injury and was made inactive Sunday. He didn’t practice all week long.

Defensive end Calais Campbell is inactive as well. He was listed as questionable on the injury report with a calf injury and has said he’s still dealing with lingering effects of his bout with COVID-19. He won't be able to face his former team Sunday.

Other inactives on a big-name inactive list for the Ravens are: Running back Mark Ingram, defensive end Jihad Ward, linebacker Kristian Welch and center Trystan Colon-Castillo.

Ingram is a healthy scratch, with the need for special teams help and depth in the secondary. He played just one snap last week against the Browns. The team's running backs will be J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. In recent weeks, Hill has been a standout performer on special teams.

Quarterback Tyler Huntley, a practice squad call-up, will be active and backup Lamar Jackson. With quarterbacks Trace McSorley and Robert Griffin III on the injured reserve list, Huntley will be active for the first time in his NFL career.
