Mark Ingram practices Friday; Calais Campbell out for Sunday

Ravens

The Ravens got running back Mark Ingram back at practice Friday after he missed Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury. He was injured against the Eagles in October and missed two games, a stretch that included the bye week.

His status for Sunday looks promising, as he’s now practiced twice this week. He was limited on Wednesday. An official injury report will come out later in the afternoon Friday.

“He brings the juice,” running back Gus Edwards said Thursday. “He keeps everyone going. He’s been doing a great job staying around the team as he’s worked himself back in. It’s great. He’s been looking good at practice. He’s going to be out there on Sunday, and I know he’s going to make some plays for us.”

There wasn’t good news, although expected, as it relates to Calais Campbell, as coach John Harbaugh said Campbell “for sure” would not play as he recovers from a left calf injury. Cornerback Jimmy Smith appears to be a game-time decision after he hasn’t practiced this week with an ankle injury.

Harbaugh added that, should Smith feel ready to go, he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable playing him if he’s able to.
