The Ravens activated wide receiver Willie Snead off the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
Snead’s departure leaves just two players left on the reserve/COVID-19 list: Cornerback Terrell Bonds and safety Geno Stone. The Ravens put 23 players on the list during their coronavirus outbreak last week, which was one of the worst outbreaks in North American sports.
Dez Bryant has tested negative twice for coronavirus, according to himself, meaning he could return for the team’s game on Monday against the Browns if his results come back negative repeatedly. If that’s the case, with tight end Mark Andrews activated, the Ravens will have their full assortment of pass-catchers back.
Snead is third on the team in receptions (28), yards (379) and touchdowns (three) in 10 games this season. After a slower start to the season, Snead has come on strong in recent games. Since November began, he’s played in four games and tallied 17 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns. He’s been targeted 25 times in those games.
