The Ravens have officially cut their roster down to 53 players, the team announced Saturday at the 4 p.m. deadline.
The team had to make 23 cuts Saturday to trim the roster down, as now they’ll try and slide some players they released back onto the practice squad. Each NFL team can have 16 players on the practice squad this season.
The Ravens’ streak of having an undrafted free agent on the roster for 16 straight years has ended. All of the team’s drafted rookies made the team.
A few players who figured to be on the bubble, like quarterback Trace McSorley, offensive lineman Ben Powers and inside linebacker Otaro Alaka, all made the team. Some, like safety Jordan Richards, saw his bubble burst Saturday afternoon.
