Brown will be entering his fifth season in the league at the age of 28. He finished the 2017 season with 21 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns, missing six games due to injury.
Those number may alarm you, but if it makes you feel any better in 2015 Brown had 65 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns.
The contract is a one-year deal worth $5 million with an additional $1.5 million in incentives, according to NFL insider Adam Caplan.
The Ravens' current depth at wide receiver includes Jeremy Maclin, Breshad Perriman and Chris Moore. Mike Wallace, who was the teams leading receiver in 2016 and 2017, and Michael Campanaro are set to become free agents. It has been reported that the team is interested in working out a deal with Campanaro.
The team is reportedly adding former Redskins WR Ryan Grant to their roster as well.
