The Ravens' 2018 first-round pick Hayden Hurst is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

The tight end reportedly has a stress fracture in his foot and will undergo surgery Friday to insert a screw.

Hurst, who turns 25 today, was a walk on at South Carolina at 21-years old. He finished his three-year career with 100 receptions, 1,281 yards and three touchdowns before being drafted 25th overall by the Ravens.

In his first three preseason games, Hurst has one touchdown, five receptions and 41 yards combined. He currently sits third on the Ravens TE depth chart behind Nick Boyle and Maxx Williams.

This is the first significant injury the team has faced this preseason. If Hurst is out at least four weeks, his return will be Week 3 vs. the Denver Broncos.
