Ravens LB Malik Harrison struck in calf by stray bullet

Second-year Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison received treatment at a hospital Sunday after being struck in the calf by a stray bullet at an event in Cleveland. Harrison, whose injury isn’t considered life-threatening, plans to return to Baltimore on Monday.

Drafted in the third round out of Ohio State last year, Harrison has appeared in all 23 of the Ravens’ games since the start of the 2020 season. He has 66 career tackles, including three for a loss. Baltimore has used him in special teams packages as well.

The Ravens had this weekend off due to their bye. Though the extent of Harrison’s injury wasn’t made public, that the team didn’t place him on Injured Reserve leaves his status unclear moving forward. In Week 9, the Ravens face the Minnesota Vikings.
