OWINGS MILLS, MD - Rookie wide receiver Miles Boykin came into Baltimore instantly turning heads, earning himself a starting spot Week 1 against Miami.
It’s hard enough coming in as a rookie, learning a new system, having new teammates and catching up to speed with veterans, but Boykin has stepped into his new role with ease.
When asked about starting against Miami, Boykin said he’s just anxious to get this season started. “I’m just anxious to get on the field and play a game … “ he said. “I’m eager to get back out there and have fun again."
Along with Boykin, Ravens fans are also eager for Sunday particularly to see what this new offense under OC Greg Roman will look like.
Boykin said the biggest thing for him coming into Baltimore and learning this new offense was to “get reps early and often”.
He added that his chemistry with QB Lamar Jackson continues to grow ‘tremendously’ every day, something the Ravens fans will hopefully get to see a lot of on Sunday.
“We get better every day, and that’s the plan,” Boykin said.
