Ravens release 'Letters to Lamar' video of children inspired by MVP quarterback

Lamar Jackson is officially the unanimous NFL MVP for the 2019 season after being given the honor Saturday evening.

Jackson won the award unanimously, only the second player in league history to be a unanimous selection behind Tom Brady’s 2010 season.

The Ravens released a video after Jackson was announced as the winner and it will give you chills.

Baltimore-area schoolchildren narrate the celebratory video describing what Jackson means to them and what he has inspired them to do.

After leading the Ravens to a 14-2 record in his first full season as the starting quarterback in Baltimore, the future is very bright in Charm City.

Not bad for a running back.

How to watch Ravens vs. Steelers 'Football Week' primetime 2010 matchup

How to watch Ravens vs. Steelers 'Football Week' primetime 2010 matchup

When Baltimore welcomed Pittsburgh for a Week 13 matchup in 2010, it was an outcome that would foreshadow the team's ultimate fate to their season in the playoffs.

It's now also part of NBC Sports' "Football Week in America" coverage, re-airing marquee games from the past during a tough time that is lacking any live sports.

Celebrate your quarantine with us by reliving the Ravens' fierce rivalry with the Steelers in its glory days.

The Joe Flacco-led Ravens opened the scoring with 2:08 remaining in the first quarter off a 14-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin. It was the only score of the first half, as Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Co. were stifling the Steelers offense.

The teams exchanged field goals in the third quarter before the drama happened (shield your eyes Ravens fans!). Steelers safety Troy Polamalu strip-sacked Flacco to set up a Rothlisberger touchdown pass to Isaac Redman. It was a dagger with just under three minutes left the Ravens couldn't recover from and gave Pittsburgh sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

Baltimore would go on to lose again to the Steelers in the Divisional Round of the postseason, while Pittsburgh went on to lose to the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl.

NFL Pro Bowler Deonte Harris donating meals to hometown of Baltimore

Deonte Harris, a Pro Bowl return man for the New Orleans Saints who originally hails from Baltimore, is helping provide food for those facing food insecurity as COV-19 continues to strain wallets and resources across the world.

According to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Harris is working with local food banks in New Orleans and Charm City to provide 10,000 meals to the two communities.

Harris was an undrafted rookie free agent just one year ago, and was a D-II player at Assumption College prior to that. Now, he joins a growing list of athletes to step up for the communities during the pandemic.
