Ravens will honor Mo Gaba with cardboard cutouts at M&T Bank Stadium

When Baltimore superfan Mo Gaba tragically passed away after a long battle with cancer in July at the age of 14, the city of Baltimore was determined to preserve his legacy in local sports. The young Ravens and Orioles fan left a mark on the local players, coaches and franchises and will now continue to be remembered through a new initiative at M&T Bank Stadium this season.

Great 8s Memorabilia and Thread Level Midnight are partnering with the Ravens organization this season to reserve all 600 seats in section 146 of M&T Bank Stadium to fill them with cardboard cutouts of Gaba. The section will be known as “Mo’s Rows,” and Baltimore’s greatest fan will be showcased as long as the stadium remains closed to the public.

The Ravens announced in the end of August that the team would not host fans at least for the initial part of the 2020 season due to the public health concerns of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, the team announced that fans could purchase cardboard cutouts with their own photos to be displayed in the end zone sections of the stadium. The proceeds of the general fan cutouts will benefit the Ravens Foundation, Inc. and its support of local COVID-19 relief efforts.

For Gaba to fill the seats in section 146 this season, the Ravens and their partners are looking for $65 donations for each cutout. The team will send the funds for Mo’s Rows to various charities across Maryland, and donors will receive an exclusive Mo’s Rows promotional tee.
