In an attempt to make a comeback to the NFL, Dez Bryant worked out for the Ravens Thursday as Baltimore entertained the idea of adding the three-time Pro Bowler to their roster.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, neither side is ruling anything out as of this moment, but a deal for Bryant is not imminent following the tryout.
A few Ravens, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, had taken notice of Bryant's workouts on social media and commended the former Cowboys star.
There's still time for things to change for Bryant, though if the Ravens don't feel they need him at the moment, an injury could be something to move that needle. If something as unfortunate as a camp injury or positive COVID-19 test comes about, Baltimore would have the luxury of knowing what they'd have in Bryant should they need an emergency addition.
Given the uncertainty surrounding players' health during the 2020 season, having as much information on the free-agent market isn't the worst thing for the Ravens.
