The Ravens MVP quarterback could be returning to the lineup soon.
Lamar Jackson is eligible to return to Baltimore's active roster on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Jackson missed Baltimore's Week 12 game against Pittsburgh after testing positive for coronavirus on Thanksgiving. Baltimore fell to 6-5 on the season in a 19-14 loss to the Steelers.
Of course, just because Jackson is eligible to return doesn't mean he'll be ready to go for Baltimore's Week 13 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday.
Running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram were eligible to return to the active roster on Wednesday and play against Pittsburgh, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh held both of them out for what he called "medical reasons."
If Jackson remains sidelined, second-year quarterback Trace McSorley is in line to start against Dallas. Backup Robert Griffin III was placed on Injured Reserve on Friday after injuring his hamstring against the Steelers.
