After a lengthy return to the NFL following an unfortunate run of injuries, Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant caught his first reception since December 31, 2017, on Sunday against the Titans.
It was a simple four-yard gain off a screen pass, but Bryant will certainly take it. This type of screen play appeared to be a favorite of offensive coordinator Greg Roman, as Bryant again caught another reception late in the third quarter.
Bryant's NFL return was hampered by an Achilles tear suffered in only his second practice after signing with the New Orleans Saints in Nov. 2018. He was cut from the Cowboys in April 2018.
Now with Baltimore and fresh off the practice squad, the Ravens offense will be hoping for more big-play opportunities from the deep ball threat. But as Bryant gets back to his former self, Ravens fans will certainly take the screen completions for now.
Either way, No. 88 is back.
