Colt McCoy should be able to return in 2019, but as more information comes out about Alex Smith, his return in 2019 does not seem like a realistic option.<\/p>\n<p>The draft seems the logical way to go for Washington at quarterback, as the team already has more than $20 million tied up in the position on the salary cap for 2019. That means free agency probably won't be the route for the Redskins, but it doesn't mean the front office won't consider their options.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The tough part, however, is the market doesn't have much to offer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Teddy Bridgewater seems like the best option on the market, but it's possible he sticks around in New Orleans. He got replaced by Baker Mayfield in Cleveland and Taylor will not be getting that job back. As the starter in Buffalo two seasons ago, Taylor guided the Bills to a playoff berth. He doesn't take many chances down the field and has good wheels too. The Redskins need a new quarterback for the 2019 season. Colt McCoy should be able to return in 2019, but as more information comes out about Alex Smith, his return in 2019 does not seem like a realistic option.
