However, if you want legitimate analysis on Christmas trees being left up well past December, then you're in the right place.
A few months ago, Daron Payne posted an Instagram story from Cam Sims' house. In the story — which was recorded on Feb. 22 — Payne gave Sims grief for still having his Christmas tree up.
Now, having the holiday staple out and about in late February is pretty odd, but Sims could at least claim it was still winter so it still belonged. That's fine. Is it normal? Not really. But it's fine.
It's now April 29, though, and the decoration is STILL THERE. Thanks to Payne, who's doing a tremendous job staying on top of this by the way, it is now confirmed that Sims has yet to move the thing:

"You might as well just leave this up for the next Christmas," Payne says to Sims in his follow-up video.
"Oh it is, that's the plan," Sims responds.
At this point, yeah, the receiver might as well commit and just let it stay. Guess that's one benefit of having a fake tree.
Furthermore, he truly might be the only person in America to still have one standing in his house even though May is right around the corner. Whether you find that cool or concerning is up to you, but you've got to respect Sims' refusal to put it away.
You do you, Cam Sims. Bring that thing out to the porch for your 4th of July celebration and make sure it's there for Thanksgiving, too.
