Dustin Hopkins is required to be accurate in his profession. Unfortunately for the Redskins kicker, he was a little too on point during a recent quarantine game with his wife in their house.

Based on a video Gabrielle Hopkins shared on Twitter, the two were kicking around a small ball to pass the time. In a stretch of life where reorganizing silverware and picking up a new skill like speaking Portugese are viewed as "fun" activites, it seemed like a pleasant way to spend a few minutes.

But then, things got unpleasant — particularly for Gabrielle:

The snap was good, the hold was good, the kick was good, and the result for her was bad.

Now, perhaps the most charming part of the situation comes after the kick, when Hopkins immediately goes to comfort his wife. His first instinct was to check in on her instead of laugh. Nearly everyone else would've done that in the reverse order.

Hopkins, who's converted from 50-plus yards 11 times in his NFL career, was unsurpisingly precise from two yards away in that video. Maybe next time, the two will head to the kitchen to get their forks and knives in order instead.
