Saying it in a coffee house is a lot different than making it happen by putting pen to paper, but during Friday's end-of-year interview with 106.7 The Fan's Grant & Danny, Kirk Cousins affirmed that he wants to be a Redskin.
"The short answer's yes," Cousins responded when Grant Paulsen asked him directly whether he had the desire to remain in Burgundy and Gold.
"I just feel that its been a very positive six years," he continued. "It's a privilege to play here... I'd be foolish to say I don't want to be here."

Of course, it'll take a lot more than one "yes" in January for Cousins and the Redskins to continue their relationship, but that definitely beats the quarterback saying, "Nah, I've actually always been pretty interested in what the Browns are doin' in Cleveland."
