FOXBOROUGH — After watching Derrius Guice leave the field with a possible knee injury, the injury news kept piling up for the Redskins Thursday night in New England.

Rookie wide receiver Trey Quinn left the game vs. the Patriots after taking a big hit to the midsection. Redskins PR announced that he was being evaluated for a stomach injury and sources on the field said Quinn was throwing up on the sideline.

Later in the first half, defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis went down in a pile after having his leg rolled up by an offensive linemen. Redskins PR announced that Ioannidis was being examined for a knee injury.

Quinn's injury brings question marks at the receiver spot, but he was fighting for a depth spot.

Any serious injury to Ioannidis would be a much bigger deal.

He projected as a serious contributor along a rebuilt defensive line and had already registered a sack in the first quarter of the preseason matchup.

Last year, the Redskins lost pass rusher Trent Murphy for the season in the exhibition opener. Redskins fans certainly hope they don't see any similar results this year.
