Yesterday, the navy blue of a Cowboys flag on an unfinished building provided a stark contrast from the colors worn on the adjacent field in Richmond, Va.
Today, everything is back to burgundy and gold.
While Redskins nation did not trek over to Oxnard, Cali. to return the favor, as one fan suggested via Twitter, they made sure to defend home base.

While the Redskins flag was hung similar to the lone star yesterday, two more team flags were mounted to the top of the building as well. And this time, there was no team official sent over to the construction sight to take down the decorations.
While neither team has won a Super Bowl since 1996, a plethora of young talent on both sides could revitalize one of the best rivalries in sports history. The fans are definitely doing their part.
