In a game that featured terrible field conditions, no touchdowns, and continuous rainfall, the Redskins fell to the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, 9-0, in one of the least exciting NFL games in recent memory.

But on the bright side, for those fans who stuck it out for the game's entirety in the poor weather were rewarded in one aspect.

The contest lasted just two hours and 36 minutes, which is the shortest game since Week 16 of 2009, according to NFL Research.

Very few expected the Redskins to stay competitive with the 49ers; San Francisco was a double-digit road favorite. While the defense held the 49ers offense without a touchdown, the Redskins offense struggled all afternoon long.

The weather was terrible, the game was worse, and the Redskins scored zero points. But at least the team's ugly performance didn't drag on any longer than it needed to.
